London marathon success

The elite runners have just finished the London marathon. Paula Radcliffe won again in 2 hours 17mins (an amazing time when you think the men's winner finished in 2 hours 7, and other top male runners finished in 2 hours 12).

What determination these runners have --and I know everyone who finishes a race like this needs grit and determination. But they also need to put in long hours of preparation. They need to plan their training for a few months, and longer if you want to run really fast.

To succeed in the marathon is the same as succeeding in anything else in life. Plan what you're going to do. Go out & do it. Then repeat this, dont forget to relax and recover, but keep on following your plan.

With determination, persistence, faith and hope you'll overcome any temporary obstacles on your path towards success. Be this in the form of a pulled muscle or the need to go to the toilet!

Got to go for a run now.
