Watching the World Cup here in England. Most impressed by the quality of Beckham's crosses-- he virtually scored the first England goal of the tournament, then presented a couple of gifts for Peter Crouch, he had to score one of them! England can play better, but with the introduction of Rooney, and the good goal from Gerrard it looks like we've turned the corner.
Two games and through to the next round-- after all it's the results that count.
The USA are playing Italy tonight-- getting a little confused whether they play with their hands or their feet, and sometimes think you can tackle people like they wearing body armour! Both team down to 10 men, it could go either way.
I'm now a year older as of last week. Here's wishing me a happy Birthday for last week.
