The tale of 2 dogs and 3 (no five) chickens continued

(as continued from below)
We got the 3 extra chickens from Helen's parents' farm. They must have a few thousand chickens and her dad and brother have a job there collecting up the eggs etc, but they also sort them into different piles - eggs suitable to sell, and ones not suitable. Anyway, the three new chickens will have to get used to living in a more cramped space, and to also get to know two new living companions.

Once the chickens are out of their coop they have a reasonable area to wander around in, but it's not the same as have a large farmer's field. And the only thing stopping them exploring further at the farm is an electric fence; you would think this might stop them, but some chickens have no fear and are escapologists. You've seen the film Chicken Run, haven't you?

Eggs for breakfast,
Eggs for lunch...
Run till chunder,
They sure pack a punch!

Respect the Fox,
Ye harbinger of doom,
If eggs are missing
then we'll have doom.
