Positive thinking

Just been reading Phil Gosling's newsletter, and it made me smile, and look at life more positively. It's easy to focus on the negative in life, and get caught up in our own problems when we should be looking for the positive.

If you focus on the negative, you will attract more negative things into your life and you will say to yourself and anyone who will listen...."see, I was right, nothing goes right for me..."

It may be the middle of July, and it may be a rainy day -- more fitting weather for November or February -- but that doesn't mean it is a miserable day. It is a great day, and all is well with the world. We might get a little wet when we go outside, but that is usually all that will happen.

Though knife crime among teenagers is on the up (if you read the newspapers, or listen to the news) we can walk down the street safely, and do not need to wear body armour. If you are scared to go out because you think you may get mugged, or even knifed, you are more likely to make it happen.

As Phil says...cancel the newspapers, switch off the negative television sets, and read something more uplifting and life enhancing.

Very true Fuge. I also now follow this mantra...too bad, but the old negative grumpy CMF is gone.
